Scan of the archive index

With Archiware P5 plugin in DataIntell your Archiware P5 archive indexes can be scanned automatically. They will be listed as a new data source in all sections of DataIntell.

Size variation of the archive index is displayed on the dashboard, the folder tree of the archive index can be navigated in the File Management, and files can be found in the search section.

Files can even be compared to see if there are copies on-premises, cloud, and in the archive.

Additionally, an archive folder can be added to a project to monitor the complete landscape of a project.

With DataIntell’s remote scanner technology, you can monitor and scan multiple Archiware P5 indexes from multiple Archiware P5 servers in multiple remote locations with a single interface.

Restore files

With the latest release, you can now restore files from a search query in DataIntell Search section. Based on the filters you can restore all files or folders. Or you can manually restore files by selecting them in the search results or in the File Management section of DataIntell.

It is easy to restore all files of a project that have been archived in multiple folders within the P5 archive.

You can also go very granular with a quick search of files and with a few clicks, you will launch a job to restore those files to their original location.

Archive files

The Archiware P5 plugin allows to directly archive files with DataIntell intuitive user interface. By simply selecting the list of files that can be archived (only on-premises for now), the wizard will guide through the necessary steps to archive the selection.

A considerable benefit is to find all cold/unused data from a specific storage and send all those unused files to the archive.

Another great use case is to quickly archive all the content of a project even if the data is scattered between multiple storage devices and in multiple folders.
